What have I been up to lately? Well…I’m organizing and hosting my first fundraiser for @TipsyZine. Our F/W 12 issue was a huge success and now it’s back to grind time already for Spring/Summer 2013. Pretty insane! Tipsy has been a full-time job for me. I eat, sleep, comfort, cry over, and love it. Everyday I’m learning something new about the business of indie-magazine’s and in this world, even art has to run on money. Along with the standard magazine production…you know, great articles, great interviews, my vision for the next issue is to create a commercial with the help of well crafted artists who also eat, sleep, comfort, cry over, and love nail art. Isis Nicole working on her first visuals? What??! For Tipsy Zine?? What, what?!! Yes. As a writer I am challenging myself to a short campaign for the second issue of Tipsy and the treatment is just darling. But I will really really need help from those of you who have been holding me down online. If you’re in the Ohio area IRL, hey you are welcome to the event I’m hosting too (invitations coming soon!)
